Ippica.
All'entrata decine di
Headturner, sei dollari in tutto.

Horse racing. I never followed horses stuff that much, but in Melbourne are a big thing and the most important event of the year is the Melbourne Cup.
Tuesday, national holiday, the melburnians went to Flemington Race Course which is very close to my house.
At the entrance limousines and thousand of well dressed people, guys with tie and jacket and girls in elegant dresses and traditional hat.
I cannot say how I could come in, cause we supposed to found some type of dress code made up to exclude young poor without-good-shoes-and-tie guys like me... but I went in.
For some reasons the day seems to be a lucky one, so I decided to jump into the real feelings of the races and I bet three dollars on an horse called Art Success and another three on Headturner.
After I found there some friends and I had some glasses of champagne the race started.
Two crazy minutes into a screaming and jumping crowd...
Two japanese horses won, and obviously I didn't win anything, I mean I lost six dollars, but at least I've seen horse races for the first time in my life, and if you know my 'horse story' is a big step forward!
