Ieri sera ho finalmente fatto il mio primo allenamento di rugby in Australia nei
Melbourne Harlequins.
A Melbourne ci sono un bel numero di squadre di rugby, anche se qua nel Victoria lo sport più quotato resta l'
Australian Football o
Footy come lo chiamano qua.
Per fortuna che c'è Max, il mio amico Argentino che gioca con me nel Lecco, praticamente conosce una persona per ogni città fino ad oggi costruita... Vi serve un contatto a Timbuktu? Bhe, lui probabilmente ha un amico che vive la!
Così qualche settimana fa ero andato a conoscere Augustin, un omone simpatico che vive a Melbourne da anni, che giocava con Max in Argentina probabilmente mille anni fa'... Poi tra impegni e viaggi qua e la, ho rimandato per qualche settimana, ma adesso non ho più scuse!
Con tutte le cose che ho da fare difficilmente riuscirò ad essere costante, perciò probabilmente non mi vederete giocare in nazionale, ma almeno mi servirà a non diventare troppo obeso!
Voglio ricordare che domenica il Lecco gioca la partita decisiva dei Playoff per raggiungere la serie B. Se non avete nulla da fare, invece che andare al lago a prendere il primo sole della stagione andate al Centro Sportivo Bione a fare un po' di tifo! Forza Lecco!

Last evening I finally made my first rugby training in Australia with the Melbourne Harlequins.
In Melbourne there are a lot of Rugby teams, but here in Victoria the most popular sport remains the Australian Football or Footy how the australian calls it.
Fortunately there's Max, my argentine friend who play with me with the Rugby Lecco (my home team), actually he knows a person for every city ever built... Do you need a contact in Timbuktu? Just, Ask him 'cause he probably knows someone who lives there!
So, some weeks ago I went to meet Augustin a big nice guy who lives in Melbourne from a while, and who played rugby with Max in Argentina probably thousand years ago... Then I sent back the start of the training because of the trips and the university, but now I don't have any excuses!
With all the stuff that I have to do, it will be truly difficult to go training twice a week, so probably you'll not see me playing with the Wallabies, anyway it will be useful to not become a fat guy!
I want to remember that on Sunday the Rugby Lecco, is going to play and important Playoff match for the Serie B (the second most important championship in Italy). So, if you have nothing to do, instead to go looking for the first season sun, go to supporting the team at the Bione Sport Centre! Go Lecco!
